Kidney Stones - Symptoms

Almost everyone will have kidney stones. It should generally pass out when we urinate causing no symptoms or pain. Only when the stone starts to move down the uterus, got stuck in the urinary tract and when it blocks the passage of urine, it causes symptoms.

The most common symptom is an intense pain in one side of the abdomen region or the lower back, which may then radiate to groin area.

Pain can be extremely intense at times, as it is relatively compared to the pain for a woman while child birth.

The other symptoms are as follows:

  • Blood in the urine
  • Vomiting
  • Burning sensation during urination
  • Nausea
  • Fever
